"The  warm pastel colors of summer surround this old trapper's cabin, nestled on the banks  of a small Alaska stream. The dazzling fireweed of August will soon give way to the heavy blanket of winter snow. A rustic turn of the century cabin I saw  in Coldfoot, Alaska inspired me to paint this summertime scene of 'Trapper Creek.'"
